Moulds manufacture is the most critical phase of the production process of a plastic component for two reasons: the extremely precision that needs the mechanic process and the fact that more than hundreds/ millions parts should be realized starting from one single mould.
For this reason, IMR Shop has developed a technical office equipped with CAD-CAM stations for the 3D solid modeling of the products and the relative moulds as well as the simulation Moldflow® stations.
The shop is also equipped with machine tools with numerical control able to realize highly precise processes connected directly to the CAM station for the reception of the tools paths.
The new technologies and the automation systems, have allowed the department to assure the high standard qualities achievements and the respect of the short delivery time.
IMR shop treats several plastic technologies moulds (Injection, compression, thermoforming, PUR-RIM) made of different materials (Steel, aluminium,…) and it is able to develop a project starting from the customer concept and collaborating with him to achieve the concrete realization of the component.
