MOULDS MANUFACTURE

Moulds manufacture is the most critical phase of the production process of a plastic component for two reasons: the extremely precision that needs the mechanic process and the fact that more than hundreds/ millions parts should be realized starting from one single mould.

GMT MOULDING

D-LFT MOLDING

Alternative to the GMT, in which the thermoplastic composite plate to be printed by compression is produced in line by the transformer by means of a corotating twin-screw extruder on the press edge, fed by PP granules and continuous glass filament roving.

SMC MOLDING

Compression molding, in which the mattress of thermosetting composite material (mainly polyester matrix) reinforced with glass fiber of 25 mm length under the effect of pressure becomes liquid, filling the cavity and polymerizing thanks to the heat induced by the mold.

POST PAINTING / ASSEMBLY

Stampaggio a compressione, in cui il materassino di materiale composito termoindurente (di matrice prevalentemente poliestere) rinforzato con fibra vetro di lunghezza 25 mm sotto l’effetto della pressione diventa liquido, riempiendo la cavità e polimerizza grazie al calore indotto dallo stampo.
