INTERIOR ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

In order to maintain and improve the levels of environmental performance and occupational health and safety, the company Imr-Industrialesud S.p.A. has adopted an integrated management system, consisting of a set of procedures, practices and service provisions that define univocal the whole
of the responsibilities and resources used for the purpose.
The company Imr-Industrialesud S.p.A. has developed its own policy which commits it to:

• to maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in the field of the environment and occupational health and safety;
• prevent any possible environmental accident and prevent accidents and occupational diseases;
• pursue continuous improvement aimed at reducing environmental impact and risks related to health and safety in the workplace
  at a level corresponding to the practicable application of the best industrially available technology;
• keep an Integrated Management System active for the environment and health and safety at work, satisfying all the requirements contained in the UNI EN ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001 standards and applying, where possible, additional models with the Quality System; </ li >
• incentivize the direct involvement of Top Management (Leadership) to achieve the integration of the Environment and Safety Management System into business management;
• to assign the application of the workplace environment and health and safety management system to all managers, supervisors and workers as primary responsibility;
• promote the responsibilities of employees, suppliers and companies who work on the site on behalf of the company, according to the principles of this policy, committing them to maintain behaviors consistent with it;
• implement information and training programs for personnel, suppliers and companies that provide service on the site, on the requirements of the integrated management system so that they understand the implications regarding their role in the company and their behavior at work; < / li>
• ensure cooperation and pursue an open and constructive attitude towards the public, users, public authorities and other interested parties;
• ensure a reliable and complete system for the collection of the data necessary for the management of the integrated system;
• carry out checks, inspections and audits to identify and prevent any situations of non-compliance with the requirements of the environmental and occupational health and safety management system;
• evaluate the introduction into the production process of raw and auxiliary materials that have better compatibility from both an environmental and safety point of view;
• assess in advance the environmental impacts and risks of new processes and modifications of existing plants;
• control and reduce environmental impacts and minimize and, where possible, eliminate the specific risks of the activities carried out on the site, defining appropriate improvement plans;
• develop and develop safety plans containing measures and procedures necessary to prevent accidental or emergency situations and to contain their effects;
• control and reduce the production of polluting emissions into the atmosphere;
• improve the management of waste produced;
• researching the application of environmentally friendly alternative energies.
